Cisco Recognizes Winners of Cisco Networking Academy NetRidersSkills Competitions

NAIROBI,Cisco KENYA.This detect weeks finalists,the winners of the 2013 Cisco Networking Academy NetRiders International Professional competitions,California,paid costs by driving with all Cisco headquarters in San Jose.NetRiders NetAcad competitions give students the opportunity to showcase their IT and networking skills in national and regional competitions.There were 19 winners from 15 countries will compete in NetRiders events in 2013 in Europe,Latin America,North America,Asia - Pacific and Africa,the age ranging between 19 to 32 years old.The Grand Prix champions are to the best of over 10,000 students from 97 countries.


E.Africa four countries participated,26 from Kenya,Uganda 69, 43 and 76 from Ethiopia and Rwanda,the winner of the East Africa was Ojangole Marcos,University of Makerere in UgandaThe Award grand prize includes a trip to Cisco headquarters in San Jose,California where the winner the opportunity to work with the President of Cisco Rob Lloyd,Cisco tourists visit the campus of Stanford University and meet Experience local attractions in San Francisco and Santa Cruz.The need for highly skilled ICT technical resources remains globally.Cisco Networking Academy prepares students for careers in IT,during NetRiders competition allows students to apply and shows both technical and soft skills on the world stage,said Omar Shaban,director,Corporate Affairs,Cisco networking Academy,Cisco.

Most winners have terminated or Cisco CCNA certification or plan to complete it within the next 3 months.Stefan Nikolov , the top winner in Europe,the Middle East and Africa,said NetRiders gave me the opportunity to demonstrate my knowledge and skills and increased my desire to go deeper.CCNA is only one step on the way to the most complex and CCNP certification and knowledge CCIE.This is very important for me,because I want to build a career in networking.

Global NetRiders Skills Competition in a nutshell

• NetRiders competition is a global network for students enrolled in the program created by Cisco Networking Academy. It is based on the skills gained by participants as it is based by her education.NetRiders participants and apply their IT knowledge networks to complete the activities in the simulation the build configuration,and troubleshooting of virtual networks.
• NetRiders competitions prepare students for employment by practical experience troubleshooting at a time to develop sensitive environment.
• Cisco NetRiders uses Web 2.0 technologies to encourage an interactive skills competition the students their education and technology training.It also promotes a sense of belonging to a global community of belonging as participants continue to work together to create by a number of joint activities with web-based tools.
• More than 10,000 students in 97 countries competed in competitions NetRiders world in 2013.
• 2013NetRiders last episodes involved individuals and teams of international Networking Academy students compete with a variety of activities including a timed theoretical exam  activity network simulation Cisco Packet Tracer Packet Tracer exam.
• Champions of each region were a trip Grand Prix at the headquarters of Cisco in San Jose California, where they have the opportunity to meet with Cisco executives the offices of Cisco the campus of Stanford University and touring and excellent attractions in San Francisco.
